Entahlah, semakin dekat perilisan album “One Love”, semakin surut justru minatku untuk membeli album tersebut. Setelah begitu menghentak dan enerji luar biasa dengan “When Love Takes Over”, kali ini David Guetta hadir bersama Akon, membawakan single ke-2 dari album yang dijadwalkan akan rilis pada 24 Agustus ini. Padahal daftar nama sudah tersedia. Kelly Rowland, Akon, Estelle, will.i.am, Kid Cudi, dan masih banyak lagi. Tapi tidak membuat antusiasku bertambah banyak.
Mungkin ini dikarenakan oleh lagu ‘Sexy B*tch’ sebagai single keduanya. I just don’t know why, but this sounds so average for me! Akon even can do better when he’s doing solo. Kekurangan beat? Enggak juga. Hanya saja dentuman musik yang disajikan terasa sudah banyak didengar sebelumnya dan terlalu pasaran. Minus lirik yang bagus? Boleh jadi. Karena Akon tidak benar2 menyanyikan lirik disini. Dan mungkin juga semuanya dikarenakan kehebatan single When Love Takes Over, yang menjadi pembuka sekaligus track jenius dan sangat susah mengikuti pencapaian serupa.
Well, penilaianku setidaknya masih bisa berubah hingga One Love benar2 dirilis nantinya. Selagi menunggu,mari kita dengarkan lagu berdurasi 3 menit 16 detik untuk Radio Edit nya ini.
